TOEFL
International students should have an adequate command of both written and spoken English, usually evidenced by a TOEFL score of at least 213 on the computer-based version or 80 on the Internet-based version (a minimum of 20 on each section).
IELTS
International students whose language of instruction for a prior degree was not English may take the IELTS in place of the TOEFL. Scores should be no more than two years old. An IELTS total score of 6.5 or higher will be required for admission. More information about the IELTS can be found at www.ielts.org.
GRE
GRE/GMAT scores more than five years old (two years for TOEFL) will not be accepted. The GRE is administered by the Educational Testing Service. Test locations can be found on the GRE Web site.
GMAT
GRE/GMAT scores more than five years old (two years for TOEFL) will not be accepted. Most business programs require the GMAT exam. The Graduate Management Admission Test is administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council, and test locations can be found on the GMAT Web site.

GPA
Applicants must submit official transcripts that provide a cumulative grade point average (GPA) for all undergraduate and graduate work that is completed and/or in progress. Institutions that do not use a 4.0 scale should provide an average overall letter grade or percentage marks.The minimum acceptable undergraduate (or graduate, where applicable) GPA is 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Exceptions may be made in some programs if other application credentials are very strong.
Fee
The application fee is $50. There are only a few circumstances in which the application fee may be waived:Applicants who have previously attended Marquette University as a graduate student;Applicants who are currently undergraduate students at Marquette or have received a bachelor's degree from Marquette
McNair Scholars;Applicants who have attended a Marquette University Open House or other Campus Visit event

Transcript
Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions except Marquette.Applicants must list in the application and submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended, regardless of whether a degree was received or credits were transferred.
Domestic transcripts should be sent to the Marquette University Graduate School directly from the issuing institution. If the institution distributes transcripts electronically, they may be sent to gradadmit@marquette.edu.
Foreign transcripts that are issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by a certified English translation in addition to the official transcript. These documents should be sent via posted mail; scanned copies cannot be considered official.
