TOEFL
International students for whom English is not a native language should take the IELT or TOEFL test. Generally, we look for an IELT score of 7 or higher, or a TOEFL score of 80 or higher (internet), 530 (paper), 200 (computer). We will consider students with a lower score, but higher scores will make your application more competitive.

GRE
Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score of 300 (verbal and quantitative) or better on the GRE exam (completed after Spring of 2012). You would need a 1000 (verbal & quantitative) or better on the exam prior to Spring 2012.

On CSDCAS you will be asked to write an essay of approximately 125 words (750 characters with spaces) per question to answer each of the following four questions. We hope that you will use external resources to inform your responses, when appropriate.
1,Describe your academic, experiential, and personal qualifications for our graduate program in speech-language pathology. Be sure to tell us how your background and experience prepared you to interact differently with individuals who are different from you in their social, cultural or economic perspectives.
2,What are some of the most important issues and research needs facing the profession of speech-language pathology today?
3,Aside from passion and the desire to help others, what sets you apart from other candidates?
4,Do you speak another language fluently?

3.0 minimum overall undergraduate grade point average.
Fee
You will pay two separate application fees. One to CSDCAS and one to UC.The cost for a CSDCAS application is $125 for the first program you apply to.After your application is verified by CSDCAS, you will receive a separate email from UC with a link to pay the $65 UC application fee

Three (3) letters of reference: It is strongly recommended that reference letters be written by instructors who can speak to your academic abilities and potential success as a graduate student.
