The Master of Arts in Media, Film & Journalism Studies with a Video Production Emphasis explores the world of film and video production.
As students progress in their studies, they develop expertise in two capstone areas: documentary film production and narrative film production. Courses allow students the opportunity to learn basic and advanced skills in cinematography, lighting, sound, editing, and storytelling. Alongside these necessary skills, students incorporate media history, theory, law, and ethical considerations of students’ creative choices. The video production emphasis provides students with the background, knowledge and skills needed to apply their talent in a multitude of applications.
