</span> </span> <span class="card-operate active"> <span class="edit"> &nbsp; </span> <span class="content"> &nbsp; </span> </span> </span></strong></div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>留學(xué)對許多人來說是一場關(guān)乎夢想和成長的旅程。無論是為了追求更高的學(xué)術(shù)成就，還是為了開闊眼界，走向更廣闊的世界，每個人的申請之路都充滿了努力、掙扎和收獲。我也不例外。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>時(shí)過境遷，新的一年考研也已結(jié)束。<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">二戰(zhàn)太累、gap太虧、工作難找......</span></strong>去年的我直到出分才思考留學(xué)這條路，而現(xiàn)在我已在利茲度過了我充實(shí)、特別的第一學(xué)期。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">原來，留學(xué)真的能給人托底！</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>回首這段旅程，我希望通過分享我的申請經(jīng)驗(yàn)，能為即將踏上這條路的學(xué)弟學(xué)妹們提供些許幫助。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;兜兜轉(zhuǎn)轉(zhuǎn)還是去留學(xué)了&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>回顧我的申請旅程，一切都始于考研失利。大四我著手準(zhǔn)備考研，信心滿滿但是競爭激烈，由于自己過度自信加上今年的數(shù)學(xué)試題偏難，我在數(shù)學(xué)這科上遭遇了滑鐵盧。然而在考完試后成績出來前，我對自己仍然十分自信，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">最后結(jié)果出來，差了復(fù)試線15分。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>知道成績的那一刻我瞬間迷茫了，我和父母當(dāng)天就二戰(zhàn)、留學(xué)以及直接工作產(chǎn)生了激烈的爭執(zhí)。我當(dāng)時(shí)的自信心直接坍塌，不想再二戰(zhàn)，害怕如果再失敗，又是浪費(fèi)一年的時(shí)間。我父母也不想讓我直接去工作，他們對當(dāng)下的就業(yè)狀況比較了解，如果只是一個普通雙一流學(xué)校的本科文憑，根本找不到好工作。最終協(xié)商下來，留學(xué)似乎是當(dāng)下的最優(yōu)選。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpBvVTLK.jpg" alt="" width="598" height="274" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>其實(shí)早在我高考完，父母就有提出留學(xué)的建議，因?yàn)樗麄兩磉呌泻芏嗯笥训暮⒆樱歼x擇了留學(xué)這條路，并且在回國后都找到了心儀的工作，有著不錯的前景。但是當(dāng)時(shí)我拒絕了他們的建議。主要是因?yàn)楫?dāng)時(shí)還小，對于一個人去國外上學(xué)有點(diǎn)恐懼，其次我當(dāng)時(shí)的高考成績也不是很優(yōu)秀，我個人覺得能考上一個雙一流學(xué)校已經(jīng)不錯了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>現(xiàn)在大學(xué)四年過去，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">我適應(yīng)了一個人在外地生活，對自己也有了更清晰的認(rèn)知，</span></strong>也接受了出國留學(xué)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;冷門專業(yè)，更好沖刺&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">確定了留學(xué)時(shí)已經(jīng)是3月初，時(shí)間太晚。</span></strong>我了解到英國可以不帶雅思成績申請，而且英國學(xué)制短，只有一年，具有性價(jià)比。于是我們就打算趕緊找到留學(xué)中介開始申請。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我父母和我也是在成都和南京分別找了很多留學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)橫向比對。父親的朋友在知道我打算出國的事情后，給我們推薦了指南者。我們?nèi)ゾ€下咨詢時(shí)見到了指南者專業(yè)的錄取數(shù)據(jù)庫和經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的申請老師，最終決定找指南者幫忙申請。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>申請學(xué)校的選擇無疑是最關(guān)鍵的環(huán)節(jié)之一。由于我的留學(xué)申請是臨時(shí)起意，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">本科前三年沒有為留學(xué)準(zhǔn)備較高的績點(diǎn)和豐富的實(shí)習(xí)，因此我就選擇申請與自己本科學(xué)的重合度高的項(xiàng)目，</span></strong>這樣專業(yè)重合度高，申請起來也更加容易。再加上我的的學(xué)科本來就比較冷門，指南者的老師也建議我沖刺一下較好的學(xué)校，如愛丁堡大學(xué)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phppzEavf.jpg" alt="" width="417" height="459" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最終申請方案定下來：主申<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">利茲大學(xué)、格拉斯哥大學(xué)</span></strong>等qs排名50-100的學(xué)校，沖刺愛丁堡大學(xué)。我在申請時(shí)除去沖刺的愛丁堡，其實(shí)最想去的就是利茲大學(xué)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我上了每個學(xué)校的官網(wǎng)，研究了它們的課程結(jié)構(gòu)，格拉斯哥和南安普頓都有點(diǎn)偏向環(huán)境方向，利茲偏人文一點(diǎn)。此外利茲大學(xué)有很多編程課，我在本科學(xué)習(xí)中編程是我的薄弱項(xiàng)，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">而且GIS的就業(yè)也是編程方向的前景好一些。</span></strong>我想利茲大學(xué)的課程會讓我學(xué)到更豐富的東西。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;去香港考雅思，玄學(xué)！&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>語言是申請留學(xué)的一塊&ldquo;硬門檻&rdquo;，我申請的學(xué)校雅思基本都要6.5（5.5），其中愛丁堡大學(xué)要7（6）。我在決定留學(xué)之后立馬就開始學(xué)起了雅思，考慮到我的英語成績還不錯，我就報(bào)了一個學(xué)雅思的大班，一個班6個人，從三月中旬開始連著15天每天都上課，聽力、閱讀、寫作、口語平均分配課時(shí)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我報(bào)名選擇的是機(jī)考，因?yàn)闄C(jī)考場次多，出分快，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">就算沒考過我也能迅速找到自己的弱項(xiàng)進(jìn)行針對性的查漏補(bǔ)缺，</span></strong>快速轉(zhuǎn)戰(zhàn)下一次的考試。學(xué)完后第一次考試我的結(jié)果不盡人意，寫作和口語都只有5.5分。之后半個月我打算專門針對這兩科系統(tǒng)學(xué)習(xí)一下再去考一次，結(jié)果第二次考試寫作提到了6.5，但是口語還是只有5.5。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpFpNyuE.jpg" alt="" width="564" height="478" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>由于我還是很想沖刺愛丁堡，但是績點(diǎn)已經(jīng)變不了，我就想沖刺雅思高分來提高下成功率，而當(dāng)時(shí)第二次考完雅思是4月底，離愛丁堡的審理日期只剩一個月左右（5月底），可是我的口語卻始終是5.5。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>父母也是咨詢了很多中介、老師問怎么快速提高雅思分?jǐn)?shù)，有人給到去香港考試的建議。因?yàn)槲业目偡謫栴}不大，主要口語小分過不了，而香港口語相較大陸給分會高一點(diǎn)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">于是我毅然決然報(bào)名了5月底去香港考雅思的考團(tuán)，</span></strong>同時(shí)又找了個老師專門訓(xùn)練口語，5月中再在大陸考一次。老師帶我把口語題庫全部串了一遍，月中去考試時(shí)我覺得發(fā)揮的不錯，可是口語卻又是5.5分。最后在審理日期前提交給愛丁堡合格雅思成績的機(jī)會就只有月底去香港考的這一次了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_php0UMJZl.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>去香港考試我仍然選擇的是機(jī)考，考試的試題以及機(jī)考的系統(tǒng)幾乎和大陸沒有區(qū)別。但是在考口語時(shí)，不知道是網(wǎng)絡(luò)還是其它什么原因，有一段時(shí)間根本聽不到考官的問題，畫面也卡住了，給我整的有些慌亂，重連回來之后我也沒有了先前的節(jié)奏，說的有些亂。走出考場我心里很是失望，感覺口語又到不了6分了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>兩天后的大清早，我收到了查看雅思成績的郵件。我登錄網(wǎng)址合著雙手祈禱口語能到6分，結(jié)果一看，不止口語得了6分，聽力和閱讀都取得了8.5分的好成績，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">最后總分到了7.5分。</span></strong>我開心壞了，立馬把成績單發(fā)給了老師幫我補(bǔ)交給愛丁堡。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpJCGiwo.jpg" alt="" width="472" height="431" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">香港雅思似乎真的有魔力，</span></strong>從3月到5月我一共考了4次雅思，除了口語每一科目都或多或少有些變動，唯獨(dú)口語每次都是5.5，但是到香港考一次，在我個人感覺發(fā)揮不好的情況下都能拿到6分。強(qiáng)烈建議各位雅思口語萬年5.5到香港去試試。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;匱乏卻能拼湊的經(jīng)歷&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>申請我其實(shí)很害怕最后收不到好的offer，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">因?yàn)槲业谋尘疤胀耍?lt;/span></strong>我本科四年其實(shí)沒有任何實(shí)習(xí)和科研經(jīng)歷。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但是我參加了兩次學(xué)校培養(yǎng)計(jì)劃內(nèi)的校內(nèi)實(shí)習(xí)。第一次是去到峨眉山，我的學(xué)校在那里有一個實(shí)習(xí)基地，主要是進(jìn)行地質(zhì)方面的工作，最終也是寫了一篇小文章來展示學(xué)習(xí)成果。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpJSHNHb.jpg" alt="" width="333" height="444" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>第二次是去江油市馬角鎮(zhèn)，在那里進(jìn)行了一系列從外業(yè)收集數(shù)據(jù)到內(nèi)業(yè)處理數(shù)據(jù)的工作，還學(xué)習(xí)了飛行無人機(jī)，最終寫了一篇論文形式的文章，對馬角鎮(zhèn)的生態(tài)、生產(chǎn)、生活空間進(jìn)行綜合評價(jià)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>此外有許多課的最終考核也都是寫一篇論文格式的文章，包括畢業(yè)論文。申請老師告訴我這些其實(shí)都能當(dāng)作實(shí)習(xí)和科研經(jīng)歷，這些文章雖然沒有發(fā)表，但是和我申請的方向有密切的聯(lián)系，我認(rèn)為這就夠了。<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">我在文書中其實(shí)也沒有提到這些文章是否發(fā)表之類，只是寫明白了我具備這些專業(yè)知識并將它們加以應(yīng)用。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;漫長煎熬的等待&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>申請過程中，等待是最煎熬的時(shí)刻。從遞交材料到收到第一封offer的時(shí)間很短，大概就半個月左右。當(dāng)?shù)谝环鈦碜灾x菲爾德大學(xué)的offer到來時(shí)，我的喜悅難以言表，這封offer也給我當(dāng)時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)雅思提供了很大的動力。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>可是又過了半個月，我卻一封offer都沒有收到。老實(shí)說這時(shí)我還是很焦慮的。謝菲爾德只是我的一個保底院校，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">當(dāng)時(shí)收到它的offer我還以為是開門紅，現(xiàn)在卻成了唯一的選擇。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在四月份面臨了巨大的時(shí)間壓力和心理挑戰(zhàn)，每天不僅要上雅思課，準(zhǔn)備二戰(zhàn)雅思，還得兼顧畢業(yè)論文的寫作，可以說，那是一段既充實(shí)又煎熬的日子。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpDVHY2t.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>剛開始時(shí)，我常常覺得力不從心。每天白天上完課，回學(xué)校晚上我都會花一兩個小時(shí)去學(xué)校的湖邊自說自話的練口語，再回宿舍撰寫畢業(yè)論文；晚上躺在床上也常常在想這口語的題庫。雖然很累，但最終我還是堅(jiān)持了下來。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">又過了半個月，我每天晚上都不停的刷新郵箱，希望offer的到來，</span></strong>終于在一天凌晨，格拉斯哥給我發(fā)offer了。這是我第一封比較滿意的offer，畢竟是QS前百的院校，但我還是更想去利茲，我相信利茲的offer也快了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>到了5月中，我收到了利茲和南安普頓的offer。此時(shí)我已經(jīng)很滿意了。除了沖刺的愛丁堡，其他學(xué)校的offer全部拿下，但是父母還是希望我趕緊考出較高的雅思成績補(bǔ)交給愛丁堡。很可惜在我把8.5（6）的成績補(bǔ)交給愛丁堡后，沒多久就收到了拒信。還是本科沒有提早準(zhǔn)備留學(xué)，績點(diǎn)太低了&hellip;...</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>總而言之，能收到利茲的offer我覺得已經(jīng)很滿足了。</strong></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>寫在最后</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>這一年的申請旅程，總的看來還算順利。<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>從我真正打算留學(xué)到考完雅思收到unconditional offer僅僅過去了3個多月的時(shí)間。</strong></span>一開始由于剛剛經(jīng)歷考研失敗，對自己極度缺乏自信心的我也會擔(dān)心會不會沒有學(xué)校要，畢竟看到很多往年收到offer的人的背景都比我好。<strong>但其實(shí)專業(yè)方向重合度高，再加上平均分績點(diǎn)達(dá)到學(xué)校的要求，還是有很大概率收到offer的。</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>中途還是有一些艱難險(xiǎn)阻。最令我感到困難的部分還是時(shí)間管理。畢業(yè)論文、雅思和申請同時(shí)進(jìn)行，讓我一度感到分身乏術(shù)；此外在等待offer的過程中也是焦慮和壓力感拉滿。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>其實(shí)反思下來，留學(xué)真的需要盡早準(zhǔn)備。<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>準(zhǔn)備的早甚至可以和考研、保研同時(shí)進(jìn)行，哪怕是在沒出成績之前做兩手準(zhǔn)備。</strong></span>像我這樣考研失敗后再準(zhǔn)備雖然來的及，但太趕了，我相信要是我能更早的準(zhǔn)備，能得到更好的結(jié)果。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block;
