The Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISYE) at the University of Minnesota has an internationally recognized faculty, and is part of the University of Minnesota's College of Science and Engineering, the highly interdisciplinary college of engineering, physical sciences, and mathematics.
The department offers courses in a wide range of topics including Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, and Production, Inventory and Distribution Systems.
Students studying for the MS in ISyE on the IE Track have three options for completing their degree: Plan A, B, or C. Plan A requires 20 course credits and a thesis. Plan B requires 30 course credits and a final project. Plan C requires 32 course credits and no thesis or final project.
